IT operations technician/developer
TIMEmSYSTEM is currently looking for a new technician or developer for our IT operations department.
Our specialty is the concept of time – whether it being time registration, time budgets, time planning, historical time or qualified time.
Our main customers are governmental, educational, and public institutions. We are looking for a new colleague who can help us provide professional and secure IT services to our customers. In March 2021, we became a part of Visma.
Your profile
You add value to our business by making sure that our hosting environment is running as smoothly as possible. You have hands-on experience with configuring and managing Windows servers (IIS and MS SQL). You can be self-taught or have a degree. You are self-driven and thrive in a busy environment where you need to manage multiple tasks at the same time without losing the overview. You follow through on your assignments and have high standards for quality and customer focus. You have an interest in new technologies and like to learn new things. Over time you will be trained in modern devops technologies.

Designing and improving IT Infrastructure
Automation of deployment (.NET applications and MS SQL Databases)
Performance Monitoring and reporting

PC Hardware
MS SQL queries

Automation with scripting like PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar
System Design (Network, Web, DB)
Logging and metrics, e.g., Prometheus and Grafana

Job Functions
Improving automation of current deployment
Operations of Windows IIS and MS SQL servers or setting up new ones
Monitor and resolve server performance issues
Setting up new customers with integrations to 3rd party systems
Add and use centralised logging and metrics
Participate in development of new integrations to external web services
The products and technology
TIMEmSYSTEMS's main product is mTIME, a web-based time registration system. It comes with a large number of integrations to HR systems, Salary systems, Exchange etc. We use SQL databases and .NET, Typescript, JavaScript.
The business logic behind mTIME is very complex and the application is highly configurable towards individual customer needs. Therefore, deployment and maintenance are a lot more complex than with an average web site.
